CEASEFIRE? IRAN
Today I am going to discuss two ongoing wars and a similar situation in each war. Before I begin, I want to say again none of what I write on here will ever be political.
The first war I want to mention is, Russia and Ukraine. May 9th is "Victory Day" in Russia, a national holiday that celebrates the Soviet victory over the Nazis during WW2. It has been thought that Ukraine might attack the military parade that is annually held in Moscow, to mark the holiday. Russia took the threat of an attack to be so credible that, earlier this week they (Russia) said that if Ukraine attacked the parade, Russia would attack "decision makers" in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv.
A few hours ago, a three day "ceasefire" was announced by the United States. At the risk of talking about politics, I will simply say that there is a very small chance the ceasefire will happen at all. In fact, I think there is a good chance that Russia will attack important sites, and people in Kyiv this weekend.
The second war that I want to briefly discuss, is the war in the Middle East. It is becoming more obvious every day that what I have stated many times is true... the current situation regarding Iran is, in many ways, threatening to turn into a disaster. Whether you are talking about the price of oil, stability in the Middle East, the Global Economy, or the post WW2 world order, the war in the Middle East has a direct impact on all of them.
As I said in the post from May 5th titled "CROSSROADS", every day that goes by, the world is getting closer to a very dangerous situation. In my post from May 5th, I listed both wars mentioned in this post as main causes of said situation (among others).
To conclude, I think there is a very high likelihood that at least one of the wars mentioned in this post will change drastically over the weekend, by Monday at the latest.
