MINA AL FAHAL
In the country of Oman, the Mina Al Fahal terminal serves as the main export terminal in the country. The terminal is located roughly 3.4 miles from the Omani capital city of Muscal, and exports one million barrels of crude oil per day.
Within the last few hours Oman has suspended the loading of oil at the terminal. The reason for the suspension is a drone (presumably Iranian) struck between two of the terminals mooring berths.
It is currently unknown when the strike occurred, and how long the suspension will last. Either way a suspension (regardless of how long it last) will have a direct negative effect on the oil market.
