REAL WORLD

Officials in NATO have released a plan for what the response would be if Russia either fires missiles at a Baltic country or invades one. Before I get into the outline of the plan, let me say the obvious, the fact that any of this is even being discussed should standout to everyone.

According to the plan that was released, if Russia fires missiles at a Baltic country, NATO would intercept the incoming missiles, and begin a "massive" strike campaign against Russian military infrastructure (particularly in Kaliningrad).

Next, If Russia launches an armored attack on a Baltic country, NATO would respond by setting up a a grey zone on the border of the country being attacked. The primary goals of the grey zone would be to 1 slow Russian offences, and 2 to cause heavy losses for the Russians.  In this scenario, the goal would be for NATO Forces to ultimately counterattack with their own armored brigades.

Lastly, once an assault (of any form) was stopped, NATO would form an airbridge to begin striking military infrastructure deep inside of Russia with missiles, and drones.

Keep in mind, the above is in public. I say that because it is highly likely that special forces would play a significant role in any of the scenarios listed in this post.
