IT CAN HAPPEN FAST

 People across the United States wake up to an alert at 4 am on their phones. The alert warns that long columns of troops and armored vehicles have been reported entering the United States from the south and north simultaneously. The alert goes on to say that several cargo planes have been detected entering United States airspace.

Many people start acting very fast. Some go to "doomsday" shelters that they have had set up in their backyards for years. Some start packing items they cannot live without. Many people spend the next few hours working with neighbors to stockpile weapons knives, baseball bats, guns, anything they could think of to fight with if needed. Almost nobody slept anymore that night.

Throughout the rest of the morning people occupied themselves doing the things that were listed in the previous paragraph. Many people kept there Tv's on all day to keep up with the latest updates. Around 11 am, a video from someone's phone that they sent to a news channel was being shown. The person with the phone appears to be standing on an apartment balcony, and across the street you see some sort of armored vehicle. A few seconds into the video, you can see a woman (who appears to be no older than 40) with her wrists bound, with two soldiers leading her to the vehicle (one is keeping her head bent down). The video ends showing 3 young kids (apparently hers) standing on the driveway.

People around the country watch in worried confusion as over the next two hours several videos showing similar images are aired on TV. The detail that appears in each video (that concerns people most) is it is only women that are being arrested by this foreign enemy. People console themselves with the hope that this will all be over soon, and the women in the videos will be ok.  

Amanda Stewart is one of the women that has been arrested. She is 29 years old, her husband is a firefighter, and she has a 4-year-old son. When the men who detained her first come to the door of the house she was living in, they handed her an orange jumpsuit and told her she had 3 minutes to put it on. Even though (to her) the jumpsuit looked like it would be "very big" on her (she was 5' 2",) fearing that anything unexpected might put her son in danger, she put it on and went to her front door (where the men were waiting). Amanda Stewart was filled with fear for her son when the men bound her wrists, pushed her head forward, and walked her toward the vehicle sitting at the end of the driveway.

Four hours later (just after 2 pm) Amanda is on a bus with 5 other women. There are 3-armed men on the bus, and the women have been told that they are going to an open field. Amanda does not know what that means, she just hopes that this is over soon. Around 2:30, the bus pulls up to a field. Within 2 minutes all 5 of the women are standing in the field. Amanda feels a hot chill run down her spine. It is only around 50 degrees, but between the anxiety she is feeling, and how big the jumpsuit is she feels hot. The chill is because after just a few minutes of standing in the field, she sees 5 men holding shotguns and 5 wooden poles (each about 8 feet tall).

At 2 pm, a man calls into a news station and says they have come to liberate the United States. The man goes on to say that if the United States Government does not begin to dissolve itself within the next hours, his men will take measures to start breaking the will of the country

At 2 58 pm, millions of Americans watch as every news channel breaks into their coverage of the days unprecedented events to show a live camera shot in a field. Shortly after the camera comes on it shows 5 women being led by enemy soldiers towards 5 tall poles in the ground.

At 3 pm, all 5 women (each wearing an orange jumpsuit and each with their wrists bound) have a large chain wrapped around their lower legs tying them to the pole. As that is happening, a man appears and starts to talk. He has the voice of the man that called in an hour ago. The man says that his men wish to use as little violence as possible, but since the government did not respond to their first offer, the deaths of the five women behind him, will hopefully encourage the American people to back the recently begun Chinese conquest. Next, the camera shows 5 men aiming their guns at the women.

Amanda Stewart has one thought as she looks at the gun aimed at her (she hopes her husband is not watching Tv). She looks down at her hands and feet letting reality soak into her brain. She lifts her head up when she hears the gun load. She instantly feels a thud in her stomach She's been shot. She starts to breathe rapidly. Shortly after a second shot hits her arm, a third hits her diaphragm (she is dying). She falls to her knees as she hopelessly heaves her last breaths. She thinks about how quickly this all happened from her waking up to the alert (11 hours ago) to being executed in a field.
