AFTER MATCH REPORT

In this post, I am going to briefly list some of the numbers from the "Celebrations" in Paris (PSG WON). If you do not know what I am referring to, read the last post. This post is wrapping up coverage of the event that that post alludes to. Rioting did occur. There were over 130 arrests, six vehicles were damaged, 2 stores were damaged, and 1 officer was injured. These are not the final numbers and details about isolated incidents are floating around, but the numbers I just list are the important details that are currently known. I do not expect the numbers to change drastically. The riots were less awful than feared and controlled much better than last year's "celebrations".

SOMETHING TO PAY ATTENTION TO ON MAY 30TH

Saturday in Hungary one of the biggest annual sporting events in the world will take place, when PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) faces Arsenal, in the UEFA Champions League Final. However, the reason for this post is not the match rather, this post is about what might happen as a result of the match 773 miles away from where the match will be played. In Paris, some level of unrest is highly likely regardless of who wins. Last year PSG won, and after the match there were intense riots in Paris that resulted in 559 arrests, nearly 200 injuries, and 2 deaths. Because of that, for the final this year (PSG Is going for a repeat) 22,000 officers. will be deployed across the country. In Paris alone there will be 8,000 officers and 2,500 firemen on standby for whatever occurs after the match ends.

BIG ATTACK EXPECTED, AND MORE NEWS ABOUT LATVIA

The first topic that I want to bring up in this post is Russia is expected to conduct a major attack in Ukraine. The attack is expected to take place Friday into Saturday with Kyiv as the main target. It is anticipated that the attack will begin with around 400 drones, followed by a "massive" missile attack. The goal of the upcoming attack is believed to be to overwhelm the air defenses in Ukraine. The other news that I wanted to mention is in Latvia. Dragon's teeth (anti-tank obstacles) have started to be placed along the country's border with Russia. It serves as yet another example that the Baltic Countries (all of whom are members of NATO) see an invasion by Russia (possibly in the near future) as a real possibility.

LAYING THE GROUNDWORK

In the last few days, Russia has said that they are going to appeal to the International Court of Justice, regarding the "suppression of Russian speakers in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia". This is concerning for two reasons, that I will list in the next paragraph. First, all three countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) are part of NATO. The other reason the appeal by Russia is concerning is, this is what Russia usually does before they invade a country. They say something about "Russians" being oppressed in some way, and eventually say they (Russia) need to save the "Russians" in the targeted country. They did it before they invaded Geogia, they did it before they invaded Eastern Ukraine and illegally annexed Crimea, and they did it before they started their full-scale invasion of Ukraine.  Assuming that Russia is getting ready to start a war with NATO (as I have said in previous posts) what I said in the first paragraph is a good indicator that this is ...

REMINDER OF EVIL

One of the first global events that I tracked in my life was the Syrian Civil War. It was directly connected to the Arab Spring (which I tracked closely). I basically followed the war from its inception, including the many acts against humanity that occurred during the war. One of those "acts" that I am referring to is the use of Chemical weapons. Chemical weapons were banned in 1925 with the signing of the "Geneva Protocol (which banned the use of chemical, and biological weapons in armed conflicts). Despite the ban, the Assad regime (the government during the war) used Chemical weapons 300 times during the war. The only reason I bring this up is today in Syria ingredients for the chemicals for the weapons were found, along with more than 70 rockets, and aerial bombs, at a location that was used by the regime.  As is apparent in past posts on this blog, I have deep misgivings about the new leadership of Syria (and do not necessarily credit them for finding the material...

KYIV

Today Russia has warned foreign diplomats to evacuate the capitol of Ukraine and have announced that they are going to destroy Kyiv. Russia has also warned citizens of Ukraine to stay away from "decision centers, and command posts". Nearly three million people live in Kyiv. The threat by itself is a sizeable escalation. If Russia follows through and carriers out the sort of attack that the threat (destroy Kyiv) alludes to, it would be the biggest escalation of the war possible short of using a nuclear weapon. It is unknown when Russia will launch the attack but based on the time between making a threat to carrying out an attack two days ago, I would not be surprised if it starts in the next few hours.

THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE

Starting around one in the morning in Ukraine, an attack by Russia began. Warnings about an impending large attack were issued by the President of Ukraine, and the U.S Embassy in the country during the previous day. Once the attack began (around one in the morning) drones, and missiles started striking across the country. The brunt of the attack was against Kyiv, the Capitol city. over the duration of the attack (which lasted several hours) dozens, possibly hundreds of drones, and missiles targeted the city. During the attack, at least one high rise apartment building was hit, as was a supermarket, and a school building that has a shelter where children, and their parents were trying to stay safe. By the time the attack ending, at least ten people had been injured. The attack described in this post ended a few hours ago and is the newest glaring example of why Russia has to be stopped. They are very similar to Japan during WW2, in that Russia is not the biggest global concern that...

THIS WEEKEND? MARK Your CALENDAR

In this post I am going to mention two different situations. One needs to happen, and the other situation is intriguing because of what it signals. The first situation that I am going to mention, is involving Iran. There are several very clear signals occurring right now that strongly suggest that military action against Iran is going to resume this weekend (possibly in the coming hours). The other development I wanted to bring up is, I saw today that some protests are planned for next month in Venezuela. (two on June third, and one or the ninth) There are some details about what is being planned that could be significant First, the protests are already begun announced. This is significant, as it suggests that the attendance of the protests is expected to be large. The other detail that stood out to me is the anger.  The increased anger by the protesters is best encapsulated in a quote that I saw from an organizer of the protests, they said, "we aren't afraid anymore." T...

TURKEY

Earlier today (Thursday) a Turkish court removed the leader of the CHP (the main opposition party in Turkey). The ruling comes a little over a year after Ekrem Imamoglu (the Presidential candidate for the CHP) had his college diploma canceled making him ineligible to run for president (even though he had been serving as the Mayor of Istanbul). The ruling caused a sharp drop in Turkish Stocks as the Bosra Istanbul 100 Index (Turkey's benchmark index) closed Thursday, down 6.1%. Interestingly, despite the market plunge the lira (the currency in Turkey) stayed stable as state lenders sold around $6 billion to defend the currency. Based on what happened last year, in the days following the situation with Mr. Imamoglu, I expect large protests at least over the next few days.  Keep an eye on what is happening in Turkey moving forward, as an election is scheduled for 2028. Between now and then I expect a lot of mayhem coming out of that country as many experts believe the current Pr...

BOLIVA

Boliva is a South American Country of roughly 12.4 million people, and (compared to many countries on the continent) has a relatively stable governmental history. However, currently the country is facing a major crisis. For the last three weeks, there have been increasingly violent protests calling for the resignation of the current President, Rodrigo Paz (who took office in November). In addition to the protests, there are many blockades. According to authorities, there are roughly 40 blockades across six of the nine departments that make up the country. Four people have died as a result of the unrest so far (some because they could not get to the hospital in time due to the blockades). Hospitals in La Paz (the capitol city) have declared "Emergency Conditions" after reporting shortages of oxygen, and medical supplies. Business groups in the country have warned that the country is approaching a state of "institutional and economic paralysis".

LATVIA

Today the Russian SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service) said that Latvia (a member of NATO) is allowing Ukraine to use Latvian Territory to prepare to launch a drone attack into Russia. This is obviously a significant accusation, and (in my opinion) Russia creating a justification for a war with NATO.  In my post on May 9th, I said that some of the statements Putin made in his speech that day indicated Putin was about to start a war with NATO. In the aforementioned post, I said Putin might use Finland "wanting to take Russian Territory" to start a war with NATO.  Whether Russia uses the Finland excuse, or what I described about Latvia in the first paragraph as a sort of false flag, it is clear Russia is making up reasons that it will use to justify starting a war with NATO. This is similar to how Russia falsely said (leading up to the invasion of Ukraine) that Ukraine had nuclear missiles aimed at Russia, and residents of Eastern Ukraine wanted to be part of Russia, as main...

FIRST OF MANY

Today there was a strike in Kenya regarding fuel prices. On Friday, the national price of diesel went up 23.5%. In the capitol city, Nairobi, there were clashes between protesters, and police. Four protecters were killed, thirty were injured, and 348 were arrested.  The government blames the price hike on the situation with the Strait of Hormuz, making the protests the first instance of what I expect will be widespread global unrest as the global oil supply is reaching a breaking point.

TERRORISM IN ITALY?

On Saturday in Modena, Italy, a car drove into a crowd of people. The incident occurred around 4:30 in the afternoon (Italy Time) and left eight people injured. Among the injured is a woman who was crushed between the car and the side of the building it crashed into. She is expected to need both legs amputated as a result. The driver of the car (after he crashed into the building) got out and stabbed a man who ultimately subdued the "attacker." The driver is an Italian Citizen, who was born in Morocco. The authorities have not officially declared the incident an act of terrorism yet.

SOCCER And MAYHEM

On Saturday in London, the final of the FA Cup will take place. The FA Cup is a major annual knockout competition between soccer clubs from England, and Wales. The first year that FA Cup was held was 1872. It goes without saying, the final of the FA Cup in a big deal. However, it is not the only major event scheduled to take place in London on Saturday. There are also two large demonstrations that are slated to start, and finish around the same time as the match. Between the two marches, around 80,000 protesters are expected. The concern among security officials is that all of the protesters, along with the hooligans who will be at the match, and the fact that all three events mentioned in this post are expected to conclude around the same time, it might merge into a chaotic (potentially violent) situation. As a result of that concern, 4,000 police are going to be deployed in the area, including armored vehicles.

CUBA, WAR INEVITABLE

Yesterday. the Cuban government announced that they have run out of fuel, diesel, and oil. Protests have been growing throughout the week in Cuba, and the announcement yesterday is likely to inflame the protests. In addition, to the protests, growing swaths of the country (including many neighborhoods in Havana, the Capitol City) are dealing with blackouts. Next, it is sadly apparent that a war between the United States, and China is inevitable. To leave the politics out, I will just say that some things have been said and done that make it clear that a conflict is coming. In my opinion, the only question is when? I will say my prediction at the end of this post. Before I get to my prediction, I will give a word of caution. I have said many times that I think WW3 started in 2022. I say that based on many current circumstances globally that closely (and in some cases) exactly parallel the global conditions that existed during WW2. With that being said, nobody should assume WW3 will...

HUGE ATTACK, WEIRD SITUATION

So far today, around 750 drones have been flown into Ukraine today by Russia. The attack is still taking place as I type. In addition, Russia is expected to begin a significant missile attack in the coming minutes/hours. Next, I will describe the "weird situation" I am referring to in the title of this post. Today in the Philippine Senate Building (in Manila) an arrest warrant was unsealed from the ICC (International Criminal Court) for Senator Ronald dela Rosa. The warrant is for crimes against humanity that allegedly took place when dela Rosa was a police chief, and main enforcer of the "War on Drugs" that took place under Rodrigo Duterte. The situation turned bizarre when the senator (who called on supporters to mobilize) resisted arrest. A short time later, unidentified armed men tried to enter the second floor of the senate The men were stopped when a member of the office of The Sergeant At Arms fired a warning shot, resulting in the armed men shooting into th...

UNDERSTAND YOUR ENEMY

China is an enemy of the United States. As I have said many times, I will never discuss domestic politics on this blog, however geopolitics is essentially the lifeblood of this blog. With that in mind, it is important to understand who your enemies are, and to understand to the extent possible what makes them tik. As I said in the first sentence of this post, China is our (the United States) enemy. In a previous post titled "CIVLIZATIONAL STRUGGLE ON THE HORIZON', I made the case of what is unique about the threat of China both to the United States and the free world at large. In the next paragraph I am going to discuss an ancient historical figure and explain why if the United States does not pay attention to this figure, we might lose the war before it starts.  The person that I was referring to at the end of the last paragraph is Sun Tzu, who was a Chinese Military general, strategist, and philosopher, from the fifth century BC, who is a known for writing the Chinese Milit...

HOPEFUL UPDATE

There are many situations brewing around the world. A shooting occurred a few hours ago in Nice, France, and it looks like the United States and Iran are officially going to resume fighting soon. However, this post is about encouraging news I read today out of Ukraine. In the last thirty days, Ukraine has regained the initiative by taking back roughly 43.6 square miles of their own territory from Russia. This is hopeful for two reasons; first, Ukraine was supposed to be defeated a few days after the war started. The fact that four years in not only have they not lost but have regained the initiative is good news. The other reason it is good is, it is in the best interest of the free world if Ukraine wins.

SPEECH ANALYSIS, WHAT CEASEFIRE?

Earlier today, the annual Victory Day Parade (that I mentioned yesterday) took place. As predicted, the parade was unremarkable, but Putin gave a speech during the parade in which he expressed some very interesting views. In the next paragraph I am going to mention three things he said and analyze what it most likely signals. Before I mention what, Putin said, I wanted to say I have compared Putin to Hitler before, but his speech today sounded exactly like a video of Hitler giving a speech (angry but lacks sense). Now onto what Putin said, the first thing he said that was notable is, he thinks the war is almost over. You might be saying why is that concerning? In the next paragraph I will mention the other two things he said that stood out, and my analysis of all three combined will answer that question.  Just to list them, the other two notable things Putin said today are he mentioned a future war with Armenia, and he said that Finland wants to take Russian territory. The st...

CEASEFIRE? IRAN

Today I am going to discuss two ongoing wars and a similar situation in each war. Before I begin, I want to say again none of what I write on here will ever be political. The first war I want to mention is, Russia and Ukraine. May 9th is "Victory Day" in Russia, a national holiday that celebrates the Soviet victory over the Nazis during WW2. It has been thought that Ukraine might attack the military parade that is annually held in Moscow, to mark the holiday. Russia took the threat of an attack to be so credible that, earlier this week they (Russia) said that if Ukraine attacked the parade, Russia would attack "decision makers" in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv. A few hours ago, a three day "ceasefire" was announced by the United States. At the risk of talking about politics, I will simply say that there is a very small chance the ceasefire will happen at all. In fact, I think there is a good chance that Russia will attack important sites, and people ...

NAVAL COMBAT, HORMUZ GAUNTLET

There was fighting today between The United States and Iran. It began when three U.S destroyers attempted to traverse through the Strait of Hormuz. Shortly after the destroyers started to go through the Strait, Iran started firring drones, and missiles at the ships, as well as swarming the ships with small attack boats.   It is believed that the crews on the U.S destroyers shot down all of the missiles, and drones. However, it is unclear what all occurred with the Iranian Attack Boats (whether they were sunk or sailed away after a while) but it is likely that at least some of the attack boats (and the crew on them) exchanged fire with the U.S. Warships. All three destroyers successfully finished their transit through the Strait. The fighting described in the first two paragraphs lasted for the duration of the transit (several hours).

CHAD

Monday night Boko Haram launched a raid on Barka Tolorom Base. The base is located in the Lake Chad region, in the country of Chad. The region is a common hotbed for terrorism, as it is located at the junction of Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, and obviously Chad. As a result of the attack at least 23 security personnel were killed, and 26 injured.  The attack is the latest proof that Islamic Terrorism is rapidly growing, particularly in the Sahel region. Among the countries mentioned in this post, Chad, Niger, and Nigeria, are all part of the Sahel.

CROSSROADS

This post is basically going to build on the post I made on April 24th titled "REASON". The reason for today's post is, the margin between what is actually happening in the world versus what is being said on TV and political circles is becoming ridiculous, and in my opinion dangerous. While this post is going to focus on the events taking place in the Middle East, the premise stated in the opening paragraph (sadly) is not isolated to the Middle East. In my opinion it also applies to the Russia /Ukraine war, the threat of China, Islamic Terrorism, and what is actually happening in Venezuela to add a few examples. Focusing on the Middle East, the situation, and extenuating consequences regarding the current situation with the Strait of Hormuz cannot be overstated. Whether you are talking about gas, diesel, jet fuel, or fertilizers for planting crops the Strait of Hormuz has a direct effect on each. To state it plainly, every day that goes by, the world gets much closer to ...

CHAOS IN and AROUND THE STRAIT, RUSSIA NEWS?

The last 31 hours have been crazy. Yesterday an operation was announced to open the Strait of Hormuz. If you want the full details of the operation (it is a lot, and confusing) look up "Project Freedom". Today (Monday), Iran attacked a few vessels in the Strait, fired at at least two U.S Navy Ships, and fired missiles, rockets, and drones at the UAE. The situation is extremely uneasy as I write this post. The other development I want to bring up is, today there have been reports going around saying that the intelligence agencies of several countries think a coup of some kind will take place in Russia soon. In my opinion, I would say there is a good likelihood that this is true based on several factors including the war in Ukraine, and the increasing attacks in Russia by Ukraine as well as the struggling economy.

UNDERSTAND THE TIMES

We are living in historic, and unprecedented times. In this post I am going to list the main situations taking place around the world. I have said in previous posts that WW3 has started. It started when Russia began their full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. In the next paragraph, I am going to list the current evidence of why this is true. Terrorism is rapidly growing in Africa and the Middle East; a terrorist group is in charge of Syria (a country of roughly 24 million) a terrorist group is currently attempting to take over Mali (a country of roughly 25 million) a major war is taking place in the Middle East, the Strait of Hormuz is closed (greatly damaging the global Energy market)  and the biggest land war in Europe since WW2 is ongoing. The list in the last paragraph is an example of why I think WW3 is not only underway but growing.

FIRST MAJOR OIL CASUALTY?

This post is about what looks like will be the first major casualty of the current "oil chaos." In about two hours (at 3 in the morning Eastern Time) Spirit Airlines is expected to cease Operations. The suspected main reason is the price of jet fuel. Grant it, most people have considered Spirit a troubled airline for several years (they have filed for bankruptcy twice in recent years) but if the price of jet fuel (which has greatly increased due to the current oil crisis) end up being the reason for the airline closing down, they will (in my opinion) be the biggest casualty of the oil crisis to date.
